Hyaluronic acid fillers are one of the safest and most widely used methods for correcting and enhancing the shape of the lips.<\/p>\n<p>In the lips, hyaluronic acid works by creating a soft, natural \u201ccushion\u201d when the gel is injected, enhancing the lip contour and adding volume. In addition, the water bound by hyaluronic acid molecules helps keep the lips hydrated.<\/p>\n<p>Lip filler treatments can achieve a very natural result that is harmonious and suits your facial features. Thanks to modern products, lip injections have become a refined art, where volume placement and shape correction are performed delicately.<\/p>\n<p>Results are visible immediately, but the final result usually becomes clear within a few days up to two weeks, once swelling has subsided.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of lip filler results is generally shorter than in other facial areas \u2014 typically the effect lasts around 6\u201312 months.<\/p>\n<p>At our clinic, we also use the Stylage range for lip correction: Stylage M and Stylage Special Lips, which are well suited for both natural lip enhancement and adding volume.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Contraindications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Severe allergic reactions<\/li>\n<li>Severe chronic illness<\/li>\n<li>Active herpes or viral infection<\/li>\n<li>Use of anticoagulants (blood thinners)<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy or breastfeeding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Side effects<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Swelling, which may be noticeable for 2\u20133 days.<\/li>\n<li>Mild soreness in the treated area.<\/li>\n<li>Bruising may occur and typically resolves within 7\u201310 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>After the procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For the first 12 hours, it is not recommended to use cosmetics, undergo cosmetic treatments or massage, drink coffee, or consume foods that increase blood flow to the face (salty, spicy, hot, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>On the day of the procedure, avoid painkillers and blood thinners, as well as alcoholic drinks.<\/li>\n<li>During the first 24 hours, it is recommended to sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid overusing facial expression muscles in the treated area.<\/li>\n<li>You can return to exercise after 3 days.<\/li>\n<li>For 2 weeks, avoid cosmetic procedures, sauna, swimming pool, and solarium\/tanning.
